Swimsuit Coffee Dixon Street

Coffee was amazing. Croissant tasted a day old but was still decent. Service is very friendly :)

I visited this coffee shop several times and I love it. The location is very central, seats outside making it perfect for a sunny day, limited seating inside but hey, like every single coffee shop in Welly. Music is always a vibe. The staff is friendly. 10/10

I finally got to try one of the Swimsuit cafes, after passing by two of their locations on a regular basis on my daily commute. The cafes always seem to be busy enough, with lots of regulars enjoying their offering. We had a couple of coffees and two toasties. These were good, especially the freshness of the toasties. Although we didn’t have much to choose from, with the toasties being literally the only items on their ‘menu’, and one of the two flavours had already sold out. There were a few sweet treats in the cabinet to choose from too, which looked tasty. Overall, the experience was good, however I found the service was lacking. The staff seemed a bit disinterested, considering we turned up during the middle of lunch service on a weekend, and they weren’t even busy. We sat outside and enjoyed our food and coffees for over an hour, but by the time we left nobody had cleared the table, with the plates having sat empty for about half an hour by that point. I’m guessing they must’ve had a busy rush in the morning, or just a big week, but a bit of a smile and the occasional pass of the table to check on things wouldn’t go amiss! Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick bite and coffee. Would visit again if I was in the area.
